Power steering problem in 2002 Buick Regal

While backing up into a parking space, I turned the wheel hard to the right. I felt a pop in the steering wheel, after that I cannot turn the wheel without extreme muscle to the left. I can turn the wheel to the right without problem. It is not leaking any fluid, the tire rods & ball joints feel normal. What could be wrong?
