I have a 93 Buick Park Ave with a bad evaporator. One ...

I have a 93 Buick Park Ave with a bad evaporator. One mechanic says when you replace the evaporator you also need to replace the accumulator and o-rings. Another technician says just the evaporator and o-rings. How do I know who is right?
