My 85 Buick Century Wagon FWD overheats and blows the anti-freeze and water out the overflow cap. My Water pump drive is turning but when i look into the radiator after it cools the anti-freeze/water is gone. when I add cool water it again blows out of the radiator fill hole. Could my waterpump not be turning inside? It appears that the thermostat is opening.

It sounds like you hay have a blown head gasket. This is very easy to verify. Fill the radiator with coolant/water. leave the cap of and start the car. If coolant immediately starts to come out of the radiator upon start up, you have a blown head gasket. If it takes a few minutes to start coming out you may have another issue.

Hope this helps you out.

Best of luck

Dave
