I have a 1996 Buick Regal 3.8, only five cylinders ...

Sent to Car Experts June 01, 2006 4:03 p.m.

I have a 1996 Buick Regal 3.8, only five cylinders sembs to work, so I checked wich one wasn't working and it's the third one. I changed spark plug, cable, put injector cleaner, swapt the injector, check the injectors switch, the termimal electroid from the spark plug terminal and still it's the same cylinder that doesn't work. At this point I don't know if it's the rod inside or what else could be and if it is the rod what I need to do? I am not a mechanic by any means I am just learning how to do as much as I can myself since I live in a remote area of Belize where there are no Mechanics. Is there anything I can do to fix it myself? and if so how?? Thank you very much in advance.

Optional Information:
1996 Buick regal 3.8

Already Tried:
change spark plug, cable, swapt injector, put injector cleaner in the gas tank and let the car run for half hour, check spark on the electroid box and swapt injector electric switch to see if it was an electrical problem and still The third cylinder it's not working but it doesn't knock at all, the car and the engine just shake a little and you can feel it runs on five cylinder instead of six when you drive it.
