Own a buick regal gs 1999 and it suddenly won't ...

Own a buick regal gs 1999 and it suddenly won't restart out of the blue. Then after sitting overnight (and leaving me stranded) it will restart.. Had a diagnostic done and nothing unordinary showed up. Any suggestion?

when the car will not start, is there a "security" light illuminated on the instrument panel, or have you ever seen the "security" light flash on while driving?
