I have a 2000 Buick Park Avenue. Sometimes the car would idle at 11k and other times at 800rpms. When I accel the rpms would jump up 2k for a few seconds and the car would seem to lunge. The transmittion would also seem to jerk. I thinking it is the throttle position sensor. The dealership said that they couldn't find anything wrong with it but I know it's not right.
