1994 Buick Regal car alarm
Sent to Car Experts March 10 10:58 AM

I drive a 1994 Buick regal. It was a gift from my uncle, he gave it to me almost two years ago, who told me he had the alarm deactivated. It started working on Wednesday and now I can't drive it. I've already ordered a replacement "clicker" (my uncle never gave me one) from a Buick dealership but that is going to take 14 days to get to me. Any other options for removing the alarm or over riding the alarm?

Optional Information:
1994 Buick Regal v6

Ordered a new "clicker" from a dealership

Thank you for getting back to me. I didn't notice and won't get a chance to start the car until I get home in 3 hours. Basically the alarm begins to sound and I can't turn on the engine while the alarm is sounding.
I'm been reading about putting the car in Valet mode by pressing a valet button near the drivers left foot. I must confess I never noticed this button before but I hope there is such a thing and that I will be able to use it and drive my car to the shop to have the alarm removed once and for all. What can you tell me about "Valet mode" or "Valet buttons"?

Thank you!
