I have an 1987 buick electra park avenue. car has 138K miles. when car is started cold it has a 1 to 3 hiccups(during starting and initial warmup drive). Once all warmed up it runs fine. When the car is then parked and left for 5 to 10 minutes, it will not start to idle--can rev at a very high rpm with many hiccups and will not run under any circumstance. once car has had chance to cool (usually overnite) it then repeats condition above. Recently had a fuel system clean without effect. Is this a sensor problem, injectors, prom, ecm....etc? Can you point me in the right direction?
