I have a 1994 Buick lasaber. It shakes real bad when I get to about 30MPH and then dies. It starts right up but when I push on the accelerator it dies. After it has warmed up a while it does not die but jolts every once in a while. The volt light comes on but the alternator is good and I have a new battery. I had the plugs and wire replaced but was told I needed a modlue. What do you think?

Optional Information:
1994 Buick Lesabre 6 cyln

Already Tried:
new battery, new plugs and wires. had alternator checked

It appears that your heading in the right direction but I would also include a new fuel filter (very important) and check your air filter.
The common maintenance items always need to be checked first. I'm assuming that this car has more than 70,000 miles and you've had it for a while? The fuel injection system may need attention, some additives like Chevron Injector cleaner really works. If you do all of this work and it doen't clear up I suggest you look for a shop that offers free diagnostic check-ups. There are some places like that.

Thank you. I just got a call from the shop and they said they hooked it up to the computer and showed no errors. I failed to tell you that the O2 sensor was changed as well. It currently has 120,000 miles on it so it has been a work horse. Do you think I should lean towards the module?
