My tilt steering wheel on my 77 Buick is loose. I have removed the turn signals and lock, but cannot figure out how to go farther. Where can I go to get a diagram and instructions?
the gm design is pretty common on steering columns up to the mid ninetys- if you cant get a chiltons manual for a 77 model, you may be able to use a newer model.

items you will need to repair this column.
1/4" drive ratchet
long extension 1/4" drive
E8 torx socket
extendible magnet
lock-tight (any will work)
and alot of patience.
if you decide to do the work. i can explain the procedure.
good luck.
