What has to be removed to access 1990 Buick Century park/headlight dashbooard switch?

Here are the directions that I have for removing and installing the switch you are asking about. I do not have any illustrations, sorry. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Good luck!

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

  2. Remove the left side instrument panel trim pad.

  3. Unbolt the switch from the instrument panel.

  4. Pull the switch rearward and remove it.

To install:

  1. Install the switch and engage the electrical connectors.

  2. Install the bolts attaching the switch to the instrument panel.

  3. Install the left side instrument panel trim pad.

  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Tighten the cable bolt to 11 ft. lbs. (15 Nm).

  5. Reset the radio, clock and any other applicable electronic devices.
