if pedal is low and no air in system check the front wheel bearing/hub assemblies. If worn they will need to be replaced, before you get pedal back. If this has been helpful an accept would be appreciated. Thank you Bill

With abs light being out and plenty of fluid coming from calipers i would doubt air in abs. apply brake and see what wheels lock. make sure that you haven't blown a line to rear while bleeding, is this a 2wd model?do you get any pedal at all?

with front tires on and off the ground there is no play in wheel when rocked at 6 and 12 and 3 and 9 positions? As far as diverter valve go if you are getting good fluid flow and no brake light is on then they are functioning. to double check try bleeding rears if flow is there it is okay.

The valves sould be out a lillte the valves are supposed to be self centering if brakes are bled properly. You are not using a pressure bleeder correct if so the valves must be held open to do so. Did master run dry at any point?
