i would like to find a basic wiring diagram to re-wire my quad to spark on a more basic system than is on it at present

it's not a car it,s a quad and i need a basic way to provide a spark

basically i,ve lost the spark on two apache quads and they are very complicated. they would only be worth 500 euro each so hence the reason i'm trying to fix them myself. a mechanic said it's 50 euro an hour and no guarentee they'll work. the quad has lights electric start etc. i just want to simplify it

Like I said, unless you can put points in it there is no way to simplify it. It is all controlled by the ecm, otherwise know as the cdi box.

That is a pretty common issue & and easy fix. The pick up sensors fail. It is a little sensor inside the left engine cover or case that reads a spot on the stator rotor & sends a signal to the coil to spark the plug.

There are lots some basic tests you can do, and you must inspect all connections & wires before you come to that conclusion. But it is something I see a lot of.
