Hello . The ASE tests are generic tests and can be passed by any good student or competent mechanic. There are no specific tests for make or model of car. In my experience at the dealership- The 07 models are new to us and we learn by experience and not school. As with any new model there will be a learning curve involved. I could take 1/2 year to gain working knowledge on the car in a busy dealership shop. I hope this helps. If you need to know the number of techs in Hawaii that have ASE certs. Contact ASE directly.
