I have a 1979 e350 with a 460 RV feild and Stream and i just had engine rebuilt. the manuel fuel pump wasnt any good so the mechanic put on a electric one. well i left it on by accident and flooded the entire motor. when I checked the oil there was a substancial ammount of gas in the oil, in the pan on the dip stick in the filter. I drained the old oil out and want to know before i put any oil back in it if there is something damaged with in the motor or is it only because i left the pump on and since i ordered the new manuel pump i wont leave the electric one on again but did i do anydamage to the inside of the motorand how do i make sure all of the gas is out of it?
