Question

Car repair

Sent to Car Experts May 01, 2006 12:30 a.m.

My 1996 infiniti I30 won't start.I tried to start it and heard what sounded like it was triing to turn over till it slowly died. At first I thought it was the battery so I had a friend of mine give me a jump start. It didn't help , all the dashlights come on. The radio works no problem butt it just won't start. I can hear what sounds like the starter clicking when I turn the key. It just won't turn over what could it be. I want to know what i'm talking about when i take it to the mechanic so he will be less inclined to try and hustle me.
