I have a 1994 ply voyager v6 automatic. It had a wobble to it. I had the rear motor mount replaced, both half shafts replaced & two tires put on the front. It still had the wobble but not as bad. The repair shop said that the left steer tire was out of round. I had all the tires checked and rebalanced. Two days after the repairs I went to turn right onto the highway from my street and it quit pulling with a grinding noise. I looked under the hood and the driver side half shaft was hanging (sagging) from where it goes into the transmission. I'm a mechanic myself but never had any experince with this type. I can't get to my house to check it. Could this be something to do with the work on the half shafts or something different like the transmission?

Yes, the axle wasn't installed all the way. There is a circlip on the end of the shaft that locks in. Tou should here iit snap in. I generally hit the axle straight in with a block of wood and heavey hammer intil is snaps in. It may be a good idea to replace the circlip this time.
