Wet starting

My 1996 Chey 4x4 pickup with a 305 doesn't want to start in wet weather. I have taken it to a mechanic and had it put on a scope, with no problems found. I have replaced the spark plug wires, the distributor cap and rotor, and the coil. The truck turns over and once started will restart with no problems. Any advice?......Randy
