my 1981 amc spirit transmission is giving me problems. It will shift thru all gear and will not engage, in neutral it makes a grinding noise. I found the linkage under the car and it seems to be working fine, but it looks like there are two linkages and i cant see the other. please give me any advice on this. thanks
