I recently put on two fuel pumps and a filter ,both times the car ran for about two hours then the fuel pump stop working .I ran a hot wire to the pump and it ran. all the fuses are good.WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE THE PROBLEM. its a 94 acura legend.

Already Tried:
check all fuses,installed two fuel pumps and filter.one pump ran about all day the other ran only for about two hours

Hi There.

I would check the fuel pump relay may have an internal issue, I would also check the wire harness I believe there is a connector in your dash for that harness.
