How to start my 1992 acura integra

(I JUST BOUGHT A 1992 ACURA INTEGRA FOR 800 DOLLARS WITH 210,000 THOUSAND MILES ON IT. IT HAD BEEN SITTING FOR AWHILE AS WELL. WELL I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD I WAS GOING ABOUT 20 MILES AN HOUR WHEN I DECIDED TO PUT THE PEDAL TO THE FLOOR TO SEE HOW FAST IT COULD SPEED UP. I DID THAT A FEW TIMES AND THE NEXT THING THAT HAPPEND IT WENT(PUT, PUT PUT PUT PUT) AND IU PULLED OFF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD THE NEXT THING I NEW IS THAT WHEN I TRIED TO START IT AGAIN IT WOULD GO UP TO ABOUT TO RPM'S AND JUST DIE OUT AND INSIDE THE HOOD IT WOULD JUST POP I TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO START IT GOT IT GOING FOR A FEW MINS BUT IT DIED OUT AGAIN AND THE JUST POPPED AGAIN I GOT IT TOWED HOME AND NOW I DONT KNOW WHAT TO LOOK AT TO FIX THE PROBLEM.(DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM COULD BE AND WHY IT WONT START)?
